“Hi I am Saeed Saleh Namadi, currently a second year Ph.D. student at the Maryland Transportation Institute (MTI), University of Maryland, College Park. I was elected as the President of ITS-ITE at UMD in November, 2022.
I have worked on the Next Generation NHTS project. The NextGen NHTS program focuses on providing national travel behavior data on a more frequent basis than prior NHTS efforts and adding annual passive original destination (OD) truck and passenger data products at the national level based on mobile device location data.
I received my M.S. in Civil Engineering, Transportation at the University of Maryland-College Park.”

“Hi, I am Livingstone Imonitie a second-year graduate student from Nigeria with a major in Transportation Engineering. My research interest focuses on traffic safety and big data analysis. I currently work with Professor Cinzia Cirillo at the Maryland Transportation Institute where I am responsible for building a traffic safety model to identify the causes of the severity of crashes on the roadway in Maryland and provide recommendations to alleviate the problem which is in line with the Maryland VisionZero. I got My Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Benin.”
